Choose The Right Glove For The Job

If employees injured their hands and lost the ability to use them, it would significantly impact the quality of their lives. Employees’ hands help them perform many activities and must be protected at all times. It’s up to you to choose the right protection for your employees so they return home safe to their families. Whether your employees cut, weld, or work with chemicals, oil, or electricity, J.J Keller offers all types of SAFEGEAR hand protection to keep employees’ main tools—their hands—working and in action!

ANSI/ISEA 105 Standard

This standard applies strict testing methods to gloves to ensure workers are properly protected. Mechanical ratings (classifications) include cut, puncture, and abrasion resistance; chemical ratings relate to the degree of permeation and degradation protection offered. Protection is rated on a scale of 1 to 9. The higher the number, the more protection the glove offers. SAFEGEAR gloves are available with cut ratings of A1 - A7.

Women's Sizing

Oversized gloves can cause loss of dexterity. If too small, there is risk of undue pressure being placed on the hands along with increased perspiration, which can lead to fatigue and injury. We offer cut-resistant, insulated, and grip gloves in women's sizes extra small to double extra large so everyone can get the right fit.

Which Cut Level Do I Need?

Choosing the right level of cut resistance is critical to reducing the chance of injuries. It's important to match the cut level to the task that is being performed. The level of cut resistance ranges from 200 to 6,000 grams, which means how many grams a cutting load can withstand from a blade without puncture. Rest assured, whether you need light, medium or heavy-duty protection, we have you covered.
